Authentication
We use Zoho OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication. You authorize our extension through Zoho's official login page - we never see or store your password.
What We Store (Server-side)
- ✓ Zoho Account ID: Used to associate your account.
- ✓ OAuth Refresh Token: Stored securely to request unread counts.
What Is Stored Locally (On Your Device)
- ✓ Unread count: Cached temporarily in the browser extension.
- ✓ Mail metadata: Sender, subject, snippet — cached locally for a short time to improve performance.
This data never leaves your device and is not sent to our servers.
What We DO NOT Store
- ✕ Email address, username, or passwords.
- ✕ Email bodies, attachments, or full message content.
- ✕ Contact lists or personally identifiable information.
Data Security
All communication uses HTTPS encryption. Refresh tokens are stored encrypted in our database. Our backend is hosted on Render.
Data Retention
Data is retained only while connected. You can revoke access at any time via Extension Settings or your Zoho Account dashboard.
